To make 发糕 (fa gao), a traditional Chinese steamed cake, you will need the following ingredients:

- 200g rice flour
- 200g sugar
- 200ml water
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp yeast

Here is a basic method to make 发糕:

1. Mix the rice flour and sugar in a bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the water with the yeast and let it sit for a few minutes until foamy.
3. Add the yeast mixture to the rice flour and sugar mixture and stir well to combine.
4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes to allow the batter to ferment.
5. After 30 minutes, add the baking powder to the batter and mix well.
6. Pour the batter into greased molds or cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
7. Steam the cakes over high heat for about 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the cakes to cool before serving.
